Home Opener

L, 7-28

#8 Wide Receiver Jabari Lewis expresses excitement ahead of the home opener against Angelo State. Lewis finished the season with 181 receiving yards and 10 net rushing yards.

#8 Defensive Lineman Gaven Haselhorst shares a hug with Offensive Line Coach Amari Angram-Boldin before kickoff. Haselhorst posted season highs in the opener with 3 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, and 19 yards of tackles for loss.

#4 Quarterback Caleb Heavner puts on his helmet in preparation for the home opener. Heavner finished the game with 21 completions for 175 yards, including a 22-yard passing touchdown.

#91 Defensive Lineman Jakobi Wilson yells in frustration on the sidelines. Wilson recorded 4 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, and 5 yards of tackles for loss in the opener.

#13 Wide Receiver Hayden Hack lines up during warmups. The redshirt junior transferred from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2024, where he recorded 226 receiving yards and one touchdown in 2023, and 122 yards and one touchdown in 2022.

#5 Cornerback Keiyon Turner carries the ball downfield. Turner logged one assisted tackle in the opener and closed the season with 17 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles, and 5 pass breakups.

VS Nebraska-Kearney

W, 26-7

#73 Offensive Lineman Brandon Kerr and #17 Running Back Travis Dixon celebrate Dixon’s 2-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Dixon finished with 110 net rushing yards and 2 receptions for 123 total yards.

#0 Tight End Cale Cormaney listens intently over the headset while preparing for the upcoming drive. Cormaney recorded 2 receptions for 21 yards against the Lopers.

#9 Running Back Joshua Clark runs out with energy, hyping up the crowd of 6,726 to open the game. Clark finished with 7 net rushing yards in the win.

#11 Wide Receiver Ryan Allen walks the sidelines waiting for the next play. Allen led the team with 4 receptions for 47 yards, including a 25-yard gain.

#18 Quarterback Wyatt Spexarth evaluates the field before assisting with the play call. Spexarth appeared in 11 games and recorded his first career completion for a 6-yard touchdown.

#9 Running Back Joshua Clark throws up a ‘W’ after the Tigers’ 19-point win over the Lopers. Clark wrapped up his senior season with 280 rushing yards and 83 receiving yards in 6 games, averaging 60.5 total yards.

VS Missouri Western

Homecoming game

W, 31-23

#6 Wide Receiver Tariq Logan points to the sky after scoring a 38-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. His score gave the Tigers their first lead after trailing in the second and third quarters.

#4 Quarterback Caleb Heavner shares a laugh with teammates on the bench. The junior finished the season with 1,590 passing yards, 9 passing touchdowns, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 173 completions, averaging 144.55 passing yards per game.

#41 Kicker David Arriaga practices his approach before heading onto the field. The redshirt freshman led the team with 9 made field goals on 12 attempts, including a season-long 42-yarder against Nebraska-Kearney. He also handled 24 kickoffs for 1,472 total yards.

#6 Wide Receiver Tariq Logan celebrates his touchdown with a teammate. Logan closed his redshirt senior season with 211 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, and 55 kick-return yards.

#43 Linebacker Reed Adelhardt gets fired up on the sidelines after a strong defensive drive. Adelhardt’s junior season included 8 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, and a fumble return.

During halftime, the new Homecoming queen and king were crowned. Star Parham, a senior studying psychology and criminal justice, is involved in eight campus organizations. Cade Backer, a junior studying history and pre-law, is active in student government and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.

VS Central Oklahoma

Pink Out Night

L, 14-21

#1 Wide Receiver Ethan Hilliman sits in frustration during the loss. The senior played in 9 games, finishing with 18 receptions for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 3 kick returns.

#10 Quarterback Mason McMinn looks toward his teammates after a loss of yards. The redshirt freshman appeared in 1 game, completing 3 of 5 passes for 24 yards.

#99 Defensive Lineman Jalen Williams covers his face in frustration. Williams finished the season with 23 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 4 sacks for 21 yards lost, and one interception.

#9 Cornerback Matthew McBride shares an excited handshake with Defensive Coordinator Cooper Harris after recording one of his 3 solo tackles. McBride ended his redshirt freshman season with 23 solo tackles, 4 assisted tackles, and an interception returned for 16 yards.

#8 Defensive Lineman Gaven Haselhorst prepares to put on his helmet. He finished his junior season with 20 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles, an interception for 43 yards, 6 sacks, and 97 total yards of tackles for loss.

Military Appreciation Day

L, 24-28

#63 Offensive Lineman Avery Coleman yells in excitement before the matchup with Central Missouri. Coleman appeared in 4 games during his sophomore season.

#25 Running Back Ajai Holmes leads the Tigers onto the field carrying the American flag in honor of military members and first responders.

#73 Offensive Lineman Brandon Kerr lifts #5 Wide Receiver Keyshawn Dooley after a 55-yard touchdown. Dooley recorded 4 receptions for 81 yards in the season finale.

#20 Running Back Keyan Miller stretches during warmups. Miller’s junior season included 20 rushing yards, 6 receptions for 40 yards, and 1 solo tackle.

#5 Wide Receiver Keyshawn Dooley smiles as he returns to the sidelines after scoring his first touchdown as a Tiger. He finished his sophomore season with 17 receptions for 193 yards and 6 rushing yards.

#25 Running Back Ajai Holmes celebrates with teammates on the sidelines after a strong drive. Holmes wrapped up his redshirt freshman season with 1 solo tackle, 3 assisted tackles, and a 19-yard kick return.

Beyond the Game


The spirit of Tiger Football lives beyond the field—found in the cheer squad, band, dancers, coaches, media, and the fans who filled the stands week after week.


Through every touchdown, tackle, setback, and spark, the Tigers showed what it means to fight with heart.

A Final Look at Overall Statistics


The Tigers wrapped up their 11-game season with a 6–5 overall record and a 5–4 mark in conference play, backed by a defense that piled up 453 solo tackles, 264 assisted tackles, 60 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, 9 interceptions for 187 yards, and 10 fumble recoveries, plus a blocked kick.

On the ground, the Tigers ran the ball 403 times for 1,781 net yards, scoring 11 touchdowns with a season-long rush of 77 yards and averaging just under 162 yards per game.

Through the air, they completed 178 of 312 passes for 1,628 yards and 10 touchdowns, posting a 105.69 passer rating and averaging 148 passing yards per game, with a longest completion of 59 yards.

The receiving corps hauled in those 178 catches for 1,628 yards at just over 9 yards per reception.

On special teams, the Tigers added 57 punt-return yards, 137 kick-return yards, and turned two fumble returns into 69 yards and a touchdown, while the defense contributed a pick-six on a 78-yard interception return.

Fan support remained strong throughout the season, with a total home attendance of 28,698 and a peak crowd of 8,211 during the Homecoming game against Missouri Western.
